• Micron-Level Machining: Leveraging our 5-axis CNC systems, all cutting surfaces, especially the grille slits, were machined with <0.01mm tolerance.

• Slot Cleaning & Air Assist Structure: Added internal air assist slots that help form cleaner grille edges while preventing residue build-up in narrow openings.

Project Outcome

After 50 days of development and trial runs, the client began full production with impressive results:

• 97.8% yield rate in continuous 8-hour extrusion tests

• Slot widths stayed within ±0.05mm tolerance across all production batches

• No visible flashing or warping even in thin sections of the grille design
